Coconut (Cocos Nucifera) called Agbon by Yorubas, Kwakwar by Hausa, Ake-bake or Aku-oyibo by Igbo and Uvien by Esan.Coconut is just a ordinary plant to many people. They do not see anything intresting or special in the plant. To those who have eyes to see, the coconut plant is a blessing and also angreat gift from God.
Every part of this plant is medicinal. The bark of the plant dried and burnt into ashes is effective remedy for skin ailments like rashes, black spots, scabies and measels.
Simply mix two spoonful of the powder with half a glass of palm kernel oil then apply to the affected part.
For toothache, mix two tablespoonfuls of the ashes with one shot of dry gin, stir it well and use it to wash your mouth.

FIBROD
Cut the root into tiny pieces. MeSure out fifteen handful of xylopia ethiopica which has diffrent names according to each local lnguage Igbo; uda, Yoruba; Erunje, Esan; Unien. Bring to boil. Allow it to stand for 24 hours.
Dosage: half a glass thrice daily. Also for dysentery

HEPATITIS
Grind coconut root, bitter kola and bird's into powder, measure eight(8) spoonful each. Then mix all together to one bottle of honey.
Dosage: two spoonful thrice daily.
Above is very active for hepatitis and jaundice.

The water in the coconut is an excellent cleanser. It is one of the best natural antibiotics ever, it strengthens the immune system and helps to resist illnesses.
If na adult or a child takes an overdoes of a dangerous drug, kindly administer coconut water to neutralize the side effects.
The white pulp of immature coconut is very useful for the memory, anyone suffering from loss of memory, forgetfulness and any other memory defects should make coconut their best fruit. Remove the whitish pulp inside the immature coconut and mix with a little honey, and take it to satisfaction.
